Is Online Body Recomposition Coaching Worth It?

Francesco Zen, founder of ZTraining · Last updated June 19, 2026

Why commitment is the real variable

There's no meaningful difference between online and one-to-one coaching for someone genuinely committed. This isn't rocket science, starvation, or an impossible task. Body recomposition works on a real, satisfying level of food, with dynamic and challenging workouts. The only requirement that actually matters is commitment. Whether I'm sitting across from you or reading your email, the coaching is the same. If anything, the email format makes better use of both our time.

When it's clearly worth it

If you're genuinely interested and willing to give a three month experience the attention it needs, it's worth it, and arguably more worth it than in-person, because it's both time efficient and cost effective for the same result.

When it isn't the right first step

If you're not really convinced yet, I wouldn't recommend starting an online programme at all. A better starting point is one-to-one coaching with someone who can take you through that early part of the journey directly, until you're genuinely ready to commit.
